What Causes Sore Scratches On The Body While Sleeping?

When i wake up in the mornings i have sore scratches on my body that were not there when i went to bed? I take good care of my skin and moiturise it after every shower, the water is not too hot while showering either? sometimes i can actually feel a scratch forming? il experience a tingly feeling which will then turn sore.
