What Causes Sore Throat Along With Abdominal Cramps?

About a week before Christmas I had a really bad stomach flu, and on Christmas Day I finally was symptom free. Then about 5-7 days later, I started having a scratchy throat and that developed in a huge cold. I'm almost over this cold, just have a really bad cough. But now I'm starting to have stomach cramps again. Is this just a really bad flu or do I have bad luck and just keep picking up these viruses? Or could it be more. Should I see a doctor now or if I keep getting sick when should I? Thanks
