What Causes Sore Throat And Breathing Difficulty?

I have a severe sore throat, unable to swallow, open my mouth, or turn my head. it is only on the left side of my throat. The left side of my next is also swollen. I am also having slight difficulty breathing. ive tried honey, halls, and gargling with salt water, and it has not done any good. what should i do?
