What Causes Sore Throat And Numbness In Jaw Area?

So I had a cold which led into having a sore throat. I was also caughing up and blowing out alot of mucus. The cold is better now but the sore throat tends to go on and off. I also have a slight numb feeling in my jaw area or maybe a slight part on my tongue but its in that area and its on my right side. I s it anything I should be worrying about??
