What Causes Sore Throat And Stuffy Nose With History Of Tonsil Removal?

Hi there, i have an eight year old daughter that had her tonsils removed last year. Since early December she has been complaining of sore throat, stuffy nose and cough. Antibiotics have not really helped and now she is getting pains in her neck and groin area, could mono be a real possibility at this point t even though she feels like playing still and is only fatigued sometimes?
