What Causes Sore Throat And Thick Discharge After Epiostomy?

I had a baby 8 weeks ago and had epiostomy, It felt better by 4 weeks but now is intermittently sore and I have thick discharge. More painful though is my third sore throat in the last 8 weeks started tonight. Seem to flare up when I feel little more tired
