What Causes Sore Throat With Green Mucus Dry Mouth?

i had fever and a sore throat with green mucus a month ago and dr. prescribed me with 5 days augmentin. it was ok after that but the greenish mucus is still there and i was given another three days augmentin. unfortunately my green mucus is still there (not much but stiil there). now i feel my mouth dry, difficulty to swallow sometimes, right ear pain and my throat muscles is tired. what is the cause of this. thanks
