What Causes Soreness And Blisters On Arms At The Site Of Implanon?

I went to have the implanon removed on Wednesday, which failed as the nurse could not actually remove it from my arm so I now need to go to another surgery to have it removed. 3 days later my arm is still very sore and has now blistered in multiple places. Is this normal, or should I be concerned?
