What Causes Soreness And Discharge From Coccyx?

Hi! I am experiencing a sore tailbone to the touch and noticed today after I had bathed that there was a liquid coming from that area. It has no smell to it. Any ideas as to what it could be? And how serious it may be? Should I wait it out or go to the doctors?
