What Causes Soreness And Discomfort In Throat Post Endoscopy?

Hi, I had an endoscopy today and my throat feels like someone punched me in the throat. Not like a traditional sore throat when you have a cold, just overall soreness and uncomfortable when I swallow. What do you recommend to relieve this? Any information would be appreciated. PS I am 49 yrs old. experiencing stomach pain and diarrehea and inability to eat dairy and almost anything else! YYYY@YYYY
