What Causes Soreness And Inflammation On The Underside Of Breast Near Areola?

For the past two weeks I have been experiencing a burning, gradually escalating pain -- ending very excruciatingly on the underside of my left breast near the areola. It happens when the area is touched or brushed, but it is not constant. The only thing I can attribute it to is my taking a supplement to alleviate menapausal symptoms. What should I do?
