What Causes Soreness And Lump On The Vaginal Lips?

Hello there. I'm 19 years of age. & last night before bed I notice I lump on my vagina, at the top. It's more on the lips. It's really sore if I touch it. I'm really worried & don't really want to go my doctors. Cancer as never been in my family well what I know of, so I hope it's not that. Please could someone help. Thanks
