What Causes Soreness And Tiredness After Taking Midol And Ibuprofen?

I worked out for the first time in several years on Monday. On Tuesday I was very sore and took 2 Midol tablets. I was still sore yesterday and took 2 ibuprofen tablets (200mg each) last night. Today I'm very tired and can hardly function after doing simple things like walking up the stairs. Is this a side effect of the workout, the ibuprofen, or a warning for something else I should be concerned about? I have to go to work tomorrow.
