What Causes Soreness Around Tailbone While Climbing Stairs?
Going up and down stairs the area around my tail bone is howling sore.
I am 51 years old. 6' 150# and very fit from a lifetime of yard and physical work, but creaky with joint pain.
No doubt I have sailed down stairs on my rear over my life, as well as sled hills.
It feels like if got hit by a truck in the small of my back presently when I have to use stairs much.
If I run them, btw - not so much a problem.
My stay at the 'house of stairs' (at my folks) ends in 36 hours, and I move back to a Ranch house for a while - so that should help.
Not sure if this is something to be concerned about.
