What Causes Soreness In Throat Along With Distended Uvula?

Hi Dr. Bhatti, I woke up one morning a few days ago with a really sore throat from having slept in the wrong position and snored all night. My uvula was very distended, and hanging on my tongue. The swelling has gone down, and my throat feel s quite a bit better. Being that it is still sore, I just checked my thoat again, and I see that the right tonsil seems to have become partially detached from the top and is hanging down into my throat. Is this something I need to see a doctor about, or just leave?
