What Causes Soreness In Tonsils And Blood In Spit?

Hi, for about a week my tonsils are slightly hurting and i have a white dot/spot on both sides of my tonsils. This morning i also spat out some blood, maybe coming from my mucus or throat, im not sure...im really worried and want to find out what this is
