What Causes Sores And Swelling In Joints, Mouth And Gums?

Hi I started getting sick probably in December. My hands were red and thought I had eczema. Then my mouth developed sores and my gums were all swollen so it was difficult to brush my teeth. I have developed new sores and my joints are sore and swollen. I have been taking ibuprofen three times a day, allergy medication and a topical ointment. Now I am taking prednisone orally. My practitioner thought it was hand foot and mouth but now believes it is auto immune. I would love to hear what you have to say.
