What Causes Sounds In My Ear And Sharp Pain In My Temple?

I have been having stange sounds in my left ear, shrap pains in my left temple and eye and the smell or rubber / burning rubber also have been tasteing it?
I have got a ear infertion in my left ear doctor gave me ear drops they help with the pain in my ear but not the sound or pain or smell sould i be worryed?
