What Causes Sporadic Fever Along With Abdominal Pain In A Child?

My 6 year old is constantly complaining about a yucky tummy (for as long as I can remember - 4 yrs at least). She is now experiencing sporadic fevers of 101 degrees that will come on suddenly and last anywhere from 4 or 5 hours to a few days. The fevers have been happening for the last 3-4 months. For the last 4 days she has had a flushed red face and feels warm but does not have a fever.
