What Causes Spots On The Face On Taking Elleste Duet?

I have been taking elleste duet 1mg for 3 weeks now. 4 days into taken them I developed so, so many under the skin huge spots on my face which feel very poisonous and sore to touch. They never come to a head and continually move to various places on my face. Just seems to be every few hours another starts to form on my face. Right now, I have approximately 17 of these spots. I have never, ever had problems with my skin in all my 45 years.....maybe from age 14 to 17 I got the odd one pimple at a time but other than that, absolutely nothing. I can only assume that the only thing that has changed in my life is the start of taking these hrt tablets and that these are causing this acne?? Please advise as I am unsure what to do about this skin condition. Thank you for your time.
