What Causes Spotting After Having Meprate?

Hello doctor,am 19 yrs old.usually i wil have normal menstrual cycle but last month i had heavy flow ,so i rushed to a doctor on 11th day i.e 6th feb.She prescribed me T.MEPRATE (10mg) each night for 15 days and also T.LWOGEN for 30 days.She said after stoping T.MEPRATE the following 5th day i will have my normal menstrual cycle i.e 27feb But still it havn t started.Also aftr stopping that tablet i had spotting for four days.I have planned to visit someother doctor.But am worried would there be any serious complications?
