What Causes Spotting After Intercourse?

I had my period 2 weeks ago. On the 3rd day of my period i still have menstration but it s flow is not heavy anymore and my husband made love to me. After that it stops but since then i am having spotting for almost 2 weeks now. I am not feeling any pain though. What could have been wrong? Thank you in advance.
