What Causes Spotting After Menstruation?

I had my tubes tied in 2006, I usually have regular cycles. I had a period around the 9th of Jan that lasted 5 days, about a week later I spotted lightly for 2 days and Ive not had a period since then and its now March 9th. I have felt tired, nauseated, bloated, and It hurts toward my right side when I have sex. I haven t taken a HPT. could I be pregnant or are my hormones just off?
