What Causes Spotting After Periods?

i'm 25. i'm using contraceptive pills and i'm sure I didn't miss a dose. i had my period last April 1.. after 5 days the bleeding became brownish.. but it continued until April 20. Then yesterday, april 28, i got my period again.. its brownish and only a little amount.. Please help.. i'm worried.
