What Causes Spotting After Sex?

i had an abortion 2 months ago and had a very heavy period 3 weeks ago.... then yesterday after protected sex i went to the toilet and when i wiped there was spots of blood on the tissue... could i be pregnant again? i dont think i could be as we have been very carefull since and im just worried
