What Causes Spotting After Taking I Pill?

hi i had unprotected sex on 13th april on 9th day of my period.i took an ipill immediately after having sex for safety. i have been experiencing brown spot type bleeding in less amount today after three days of taking pill.is bleeding after taking i-pill normal or its symptoms of pregnancy?
