What Causes Spotting And Abdominal Cramps Post Menopause?

I am 6 years postmemapausal (56 YEARS OLD) sOMETIME HAVE CRAMPS AND SPOTTING. I have been to the dr. 2 times. Pap smears and other things. He could find nothing. What is it? Does this happen a lot?? Is this kind of the normal for the unnormal?
