What Causes Spotting Before Periods And After Sex?

i have a problem, sometimes when my period comes and it leaves one week after i would notice blood it would not be heavy it would be light but its there it may last one day or ontil my period comes again also if i had an orgasm i may notice blood a while after what can cause that please help
