What Causes Spotting, Lower Back Pain And Congestion?

i have a really irregular period, with some sort of spotting earlier this month, and spotting again a week ago. I tested negative twice on hpts last week..but I have all these other symptoms including this dull lower backache that won't leave and 2 and a half week congestion..what could this be now?
