What Causes Spotting When On Yaz Birth Control Pill?

I'm Margie 40 yr/o taking yaz pill, on the first pack no spotting no discharge. I take 1 white tablet and started to spotting but very small amount then my spotting off and clear when I start to take a second pack of yaz pill but now my concern is why I'm spotting again.
