What Causes Spotting While Trying To Conceive?

Hi, I am planning to have babies and had sex few days back. My next period is supposed to be in 3 days and i see red spots in my urine since day before yesterday. Initially i thought that my periods have started but i dont see any bledding though. What could be the reason?
