What Causes Spotting While Urination?

I have been to the toilet and when I wiped my self I noticed some slight red marks on the paper .
I wiped again and the colour was very slight ..
I wiped again and nothing
I checked my stools and could not see any redness anywhere.
I have been again today no redness anywhere.
I do use the Boots kit annually for checking my stools for blood ..
