What Causes Spotting?

I am 32 years old, I have a pinkish discharge after I urinate and when I wipe. I had what I thought may have been my period. It was very light. But never was red like a normal period. I have taken 3 pregnancy test. The first one came out negative but a couple hours later there was a light pink line for positive. The other two store bought were negative.
