What Causes Spotting?

Hi im 26yrs old. im trying to get pregnant. My doc gave me FSH 225 injection and asked me to do follicle study. Its my 16th day and no result yet. But I have little spottings. My doc told me nothing to worry and prescribed me tranlok 500 mg for 3 days and askd me to conitune the follicular study. What could be the reason for the spotting?
