What Causes Stabbing Pain On Right Side Of Body?

I m having these sharp stabing pains in my right side. I stop and and hold my side, because if I move it hurts worse. Then when I lay down, if Im laying on my side and turn around or over it happens. I m scared of what could be wrong. I have been having these pains but too scared to go to doctor because it will come and go and I didn t think nothing of it and now its coming back like every 6 hours or more. Throughout the day I ll experience at least four or five times. Then I start getting these pains where when I go and try and breath it hurts so I slowly exhale and inhale. That happens here and there. I m concern because I m not at home I m far away from home and from my doctor. Do you know what this could be?
