What Causes Sticky Discharge With Foul Smell During The Menopause?

Post menopausal bleeding polyp removed plus pap test - tests benign. Approximately a year later still spotting with little blood which increases with lifting also have foul smelling sticky discharge and lower left pain at times. Left ovary removed years ago. Removed polyp did not return. Age 61. Height 6'. Weight 260 lbs. Had severe bleeding with five clots about 3 weeks ago. No bleeding since that only the foul smelling sticky discharge now. My physician says my vaginal walls appear thicker than they should be for my age. On synthoid for my low thyroid. Only other drug Nexium. What's you guess and what would you do or recommend?
