What Causes Sticky Streaks Of Hair Around Scalp?

Last night have spotted a sticky streaks of hair next to my scalp and this morning it has it slightly has increased. I used a mirror to examine the area if anything visible, but all I can see is wet, sticky streaks of hair around the scalp area of few centimeters (and those hair streaks, wet and sticky, long about 2 centimeters. A bit scary, as nothing else much visible.
