What Causes Stiffness In Knees Along With Swelling And Tightness In Legs?

I have been experiencing stiffness in knees when rising from a crouching position, tightness in skin on legs and some slight swelling in legs for last two or three months. Been trying to stretch and strengthen by practicing yoga but no difference in flexibility
