What Causes Stinging Sensations In The Left Breast And Nipple?

every once in awhile i will get this burning/ stinging sensation in my left boob and nipple, i had a baby about 9 months ago and i only breast feed for the first two weeks, i didnt know why this was happening or if it is something to be concerned about?
