What Causes Stinky Discharge During Miscarriage?

Hi I just had a miscarriage on the 17th of this month.there is no more bleeding just light brown spotting.but it stinks really bad it smells like a sewer.is this normal after miscarrying.they checked me for dieseases like trich,chlymidia. And gon all were negative.is it still effects from the baby or what.it really smell like fart or something it stinks.and its the inside of my vagina.and when u miscarry is that ur period as well if not when do u get ur period?
