What Causes Stomach Pain And Headache In Children?

My 6 year old son has been complaining of belly pain(actual pain, not sickness) and a headache for about 3 weeks now. They pain comes and goes but I can tell when it comes that it is really hurting him. Should I be concerned and take him to his pediatrician?
