What Causes Stomach Pain,frequent Vomiting And Diarrhea In Children?

Hello...My 8yr old daughter woke up at 1:30 am complaining of her stomach hurting..she vomited off and on until 4:30 am with diarrhea at the same time....she was not running a fever until this afternoon...is this flu like symptoms ? Or just a stomach bug ?
