What Causes Strange Sensation In Pelvic Area?

I am a 48 year old female, currently experiencing this buzzing sensation in my lower left pelvic area. No pain, but quite annoying. No consistent pattern. It just comes and goes all day long. I have been dealing with this for the past 3 weeks. I m a little frightened. What do think? worry, or wait for it to pass??
