What Causes Stringy Blood Discharge From Vagina?

Hi im loosing stringy jelly blood from my vagina, I was 3days late this month for my period and have been.having bad cramps esp on my left side.of stomach!! The blood is very red but im only losing a little blood! Last month my period was 3 days early and that was only light and lasted 3 days then 17 days aftet when I went to the toilet.i had creamy.egg white stuff and l a ots of it!! Im really.confused am I having a period.or could I be pregnant and.poss be miscarrying?
