What Causes Stringy Mucus In Urine Towards The End Of Menstruation?

Everytime my period comes to an end I pee out this stringy mucus looking floaty thing, does this have something to do with ovulation? I have read somewhere that it could be a UTI or vaginal thrush but I am in zero pain and I am not urinating constantly or have any itching or burning sensations. What is it?
