What Causes Strong Fluttering Sensation In The Groin Area?

Hi!I have a herniated C6-7 and I also hurt my lower back pretty bad a few weeks ago. I have been experiencing a very strong fluttering in my groin for weeks now. I read somewhere a while back that if my herniation symptoms get into my groin area that I should get to a hospital immediTely because it could be fatal. It was called Cephaucaudal something. Is the fluttering a warning, considering my situation?
