What Causes Strong Odor In Urine?

I am 80 years old and have never had strong urine smell. My last physical lab results showed a 6.2 glucose. However, my doc said she did not feel I needed medication and although I mentioned the strong urine smell, she did not respond to that concern and I forgot about it until after my visit. What do you think as the cause, because surely it is not common...at least not to me. Thank you. Sorry, Idid not know there would be a charge...how foolish of me.
