What Causes Stuck Feeling And Pain In Throat While Eating?

had some food get stuck about half way down lastnight , extremely painful, took a few sips of water, thinking that might help it slide down, made it worse,extreme pressure, went to bathroom, tried to vomit, nothing would come up, waited about 5 minues until pain lessened, tried taking another sip of water, pain got worse again...after about ten minutes, pain was finally gone, was able to sip water....it was spegetti I was eating...
