What Causes Sudden And Frequent Bowel Movements?

I often have sudden bowel movements that come on with no warning. also with no control to hold or stop. the result is sometimes a very loose stool, liquid stool to diarrhea type stool. I have taken most diary out of my diet for awhile now using occasional cheese that helped when this first started but seems to have more episodes of late. several times a day
