What Causes Sudden Blurriness In Eyes And Facial Numbness?

while driving this morning to work, all the sudden my eyes went blurry, like crossed, my face felt strange, it went away in about a minute, I was lucky that I could slow down and pull over. I had to pull down on my cheeks to clear my eyes, almost like my face went numb, for a brief moment, since then, I've been fine. What caused this? I am 50, on meds for high blood pressure.
